Passion & Purpose Ventures “P&PV” was founded by film Producer/Casting Director Lamese Williams. Lamese started her career in entertainment over 20 years ago and with major accomplishments under her belt as well as working with some of the top talent int he industry, she still felt unfulfilled. It was when she ventured back to her hometown of Brooklyn, NY to start a non-profit that she was afforded the opportunity to work with Sean Combs and Dr. Steve Perry in the starting of a Charter School for undeserved scholars in Harlem, NY. It was an experience of a life time says Lamese and I have never felt so fulfilled. After the pening of Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter School in 2016, Lamese continued on as head of Operations & Community Engagement until 2019 when she decided she missed the Entertainment which was her passion and loved the purpose that opening the school and working with kids & families or anyone who needed assistance gave her. P&PV is designed to serve as a platform for issues in the undeserved communities to be brought to the for front and spoken about through the lens of the filmmakers.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is the be vocal in a very different way on major issues affecting our society, especially the African American community. Celebrities and anyone with any number of followers have always been able to get the ear of the people, well that is the plan, making films with celebrities that will bring awareness to subject matters that plague the community
WHAT WE DO
- We will produce media centered around real life issues and about real people in crisis.
- We will offer resources and a safe place for people to share.
- We will travel and provide insite into how to activate on the issues at hand
